  • The research behind Resonances was guided by the following two questions:

    (1) Is it possible to generate a network of polyphony stemming from the cross-correlations of timbral morphologies, which could be used to trace multidimensional contours of virtual sonic-temporal images interfacing with space?

    (2) If so, what kind of positionings would this network entail and enable in relation to subjectivity and space?

Focusing on the deviation degrees of complex acoustic properties, Resonances (a) is an effort to bring multidimensional geometry in relation to timbral domain in order to articulate spatial characteristics of acoustic instruments in coherent ways, and to color the properties of resonance and reflection in portraying a perceived or illusionary space.
